The Atmospheric thruster is a new kind of thruster with the sole purpose of functioning in an atmosphere of a planet. They look like jet engines (turbines) but the fan blades do not (yet) spin. They emit a white exhaust flame when functioning. They are meant to be used in the early stages of the game (when starting on a planet), therefore they are cheaper to produce and use than the other thrusters. They do not require expensive thruster components to be made and do not need hydrogen to function. The thrusters come in 2 sizes for both large and small grids.
