There are plenty reasons why we are in motion. Some of us travel to discover, some search for opportunities. Some are running from their past or just want every day to be different. We are best described as a group of travelling freelancers and mercenaries of all kinds that ocassionally establish hideouts and freeports.

Who are nomads?

We are individuals of different specializations held together by common views on life: we are mobile, dynamic, adaptive. We believe that everything is temporary and are always ready to take off and start again.
There are plenty reasons why we are in motion. Some of us travel to discover or just want every day to be different. Some are running from their past. Some are traders looking for profit or freelancers looking for work. But no matter what, we remain a team. We are always ready to help ally in need.

Rules

  1. Be polite to surrounding people, respect their property.
  2. Maintain neutrality when possible.
  3. You may do everything you want if you do not spoil faction reputation.
    • Be ready to bear responsibility for your actions.
    • You are free to defend yourself and your property.
    • You can join other faction if possible.
    • You can accept contracts and work offers.
  4. You have to provide possible assistance to any non-hostile ship or station if such assistance is requested (including transportation and temporary housing of affected).
  5. Follow the rules of territory you are in. If compliance with local rules may result in you taking damage or being killed, you must retreat to neutral space and inform faction.
  6. Never claim works that are not your own.
(For example repairing and using an old wreck is allowed, but do not claim that you made the ship.)

Servers

Due to technical difficulties currently there are no active faction servers. Sorry.</br> 24/7 dedicated servers are planed.

Freeports

/-none known-/

Freeport rules

  1. Nomad freeports and their surroundings are declared neutral territory.
Freeports will accept all ships and pilots that do not threaten security of freeport and its visitors.
  2. Anyone griefing or attacking at freeport and its surroundings will be destroyed and his property (or what is left of it) seized.
  3. Any accidental damage done within freeport territory must be repaired as fully as possible at the expense of inflictor. Inflictor is expected to work with victim to resolve the situation peacefully and restore as much as possible.
  4. Repeated rules violation will result in ban from entering corresponding freeport area.

Joining

It doesn't matter what makes someone become nomad. No questions will be asked. You will be accepted if you agree to follow our rules and be respectful. Our goal is to create supportive community that lets everyone take desired role, thus providing best possible experience in SE. We welcome people willing to improve their skills and help others doing so. Be ready to provide and receive constructive feedback.

Recommendations

  • Unless it is reasonable to build a stationary structure, your creation should be mobile.
  • It is strongly advised to have a faction-shared medical room on board.
  • Try to keep neutrality when possible.
  • Your constructions should be able to operate correctly with thruster damage enabled
